Check this interesting bit of news out:
From AltServices
There has been a requirement for some time for an alternative nock option for the Cartel Triple range of arrows.
We are pleased to announce that after months of searching we have come across the Easton Vector Pin option which is virtually an exact fit for Triple sizes 300, 400, 500, 600, and 700.
Full tests are currently in progress by our store shooters but first indications are favourable.
There is a picture on the AltServices website. http://www.alternativess.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.cgi/00182.4.1012071412415149984
This is good news although "virtually an exact fit" worries me. It sounds like "absolutely definitely... maybe" :D

They look the goods to me. I might get some and have a go. Sure beats machining them down.

What nocks fit onto these Vector Pins for the Cartel Triples ?
Are they a similar fit on the serving as a G nock ?
Are they readily available?
I am worried about my machined down G nocks on my Cartel Triple 500's

According to the Alternative Services website the pins will take either Easton Pin Nocks or the equivalent Carbon Tech McKinney Pin Nock
According to Easton's website, the Vectors take a/c/e pins. Didn't I read here that they don't fit triples? And if they do fit then so shouldn't the G-nocks also?

No the Navigators take ACE componants but the Vectors take their own as they are a thinner arrow.
I'm glad I don't buy from Easton's website. They say the vectors take a/c/e gear!

What style of nock are these Vector ? Are they a straight groove as the G nock ? Or are they a "keyhole" as Beiter or Triple ?
I am after a G nock fit on the serving (ideal for compound with rope release& only a top nock set )- i.e. without that snap on then opening causing"play" when fully nocked like Triples & Beiter etc.!

I believe it is the ACE pin nocks that fit onto the vector pins

These ACE pin nocks are the same as a G nock as regards to string groove.
I've just ordered some Vector pins & ACE pin nocks (in the trick new blue colour) from Alternative. They should be here early next week.

I am looking forward to seeing these.
If there is now a blue at least it is another colour to prevent spotting confusion.
Any other new colours ?
What colour did you go for Tony ?

I've only ordered pins thus far. Nock colour will depend on local availability. It's always possible that I may stay with the Beiter outsert nocks of course.....
