Given that Marcus has now admitted why he married Erica, why did the rest of us marry XXXX??

Personally I really can't remember but it may have been something to do with a couple of things that grabbed my attention that seemed to move across the room with the aid of simple harmonic motion and a tight jumper!!??

As a nasho in 1970, the Army paid an extra $26.40 per week if you were married! :silly:

And still married. :thumb:

I actually now think it was $26.40 per fortnight.

I was thinking that $26.40 per week in 1970 would be a pretty damn good reason to get married!

For those of us young'uns, 26.40 in 1970 is roughly equivelant to how much now?

Eberbachl

Alot.

(Approximately $137.03 according to a web calculator I found)

Whatever. It has been bloody good value for the last 37 years. :thumb:

At a value of $137.03 per week, it's been worth $263,645.72!

Bloody good value indeed I say!

That only works if he were getting the money all along.

I think I married Caleb because he made me laugh...not a lot to it, really.

We're of course all far too polite to ask what you were laughing at ;-)

And I am, of course, far too polite not to share that

I married Hannah because God told me I would.

He (God) aparantly needed her to laugh.

I'm not married. That would require meeting a blind girl with a f*cked up sense of humour.

I got married coz hubbie was afraid to say no :)

Actually the best answer I can come up with is- 'It seemed like a good idea at the time!'. If we make it to April 11th it will be 27 years (OMG)

I just figured out why you are not married Oompa!

Never married...... 'boning a b*tch'

Recently married..... 'making love'

8 years married ..... 'allowed occasional access' - for sympathy and special occasions.

He never said he has never been married, just that he isn't. Could be that he is just a cynical, twisted and bitter as Ozzy :p

Anyway, Andrew C knocked me back.
No wonder I'm a cynic.
Or maybe I'm just desperate.
