I have ripped some stuff from the Archery SA website....

Venue Changed for State Target
The State Target Championships to be held on Sunday 11th March 2007 has a change of venue from Victoria Park to Saint Ignatius' College at 2 Manresa Court, Athelstone because of the Clipsal car race infrastructure stil being cleared away.

The times and rounds for this event will stay the same as per the ARCHERY SA shooting calendar. (Practice 9:30am and first scoring end at 10:00am.)

Free Barbeque and Talk by Mr Jim Larven, AA CEO & Mr Kyo Moon Oh, National Coach
All members are advised that there will be a free barbeque after the State Target Championships to be held on Sunday, 11th March, 2007 at Saint Ignatius' College. The State Target commences at 9:30am and during the day the National Team Coach Mr Kyo Moon Oh will be in attendance and will be observing all competitors. Mr Jim Larven will also be in attendance but as a competitor.

At approximately 5pm the free barbeque will be available provided by the Junior squad parents and then at approximately 7pm to 9pm there will be a talk by Mr Jim Larven the CEO of AA with the topics being on the Pathways program, High performance program and anti-doping.

Mr Kyo Moon Oh will also be in attendance at this talk.

On Monday 12th March at the Adelaide Archery Club from 10am till noon there will be further discussion on coaching by Mr Jim Larven. This will carry on from the night before and the subject covered will continue at the coaching weekend which is to be held at the Farm Indoor Archery Club on the weekend of the 19th & 20th May, 2007. The only gaps I can fill in are:
A Hancock 225 @ 90, 261 @ 70.
Gerry Phipps was competing in Open Men's Compound. It was his first ever Men's FITA.

Some good scores there in Open Compound considering the on & off breeze.

A sea of ALL Hoyts & Bowtechs in that Open Class. Amazing ?

A sign of things to come ?

Oh sure.
I'm not that influencial am I ?
If that's the case all this Bowtech hype around would be far more effective.

Well done Dorian. For a newbie to target shooting you're making great progress, and it's a pleasure to shoot with you.
