Bohning X-vanes! they are the cheapest easiest to apply vanes you will buy! not as consistant as flex fletch but an excellent vane! (far easier to put on than FF) i have no hassel recomendding them to anyone! :thumb:

I shoot the 2.25 sheild cut

1.5" X-vanes. Super strong. Don't curl, don't tear like FFP's and stay on easy.

and they are only $24 for 100 (depends where you get them from)

I've always been a huge FlexFletch fan for compound, but those 1.5 shield
X Vanes look super sexy.
If they're as resilient & tough as FF, Im switching.

Are you all 1o offsetting them or fletching straight ?

I only fletch on a helical! straight fletched arrows dont seem to fly as straight... just my opinion

And i dont think you will find anything tougher than the 1.5" x-vanes :D

Would you all stop talking up 1.5" X vanes..they are hard enough to get anyway...at least whe I am chasing them.:D
(I agree they are good, tough vanes)

There is nothing like Flex Fletch 187.

Nothing.

I have tested heaps, I think you will find Clint has as well. John Dudley I am pretty sure used them at our Nationals.

At $30 per hundred....geeze I would not even consider anything else now.

Except Indoor, the FLP400 Flex Fletch low profile stops any cable guard / cable clearance issues and straightens the indoor arrows stacks quicker.

FFP175s, invincible but I find some of them curl... are 1.5 X-vanes, with 1 degree off-set, good on a recurve?

Yep Ok:D Pretty broad statement there, "nothing like FF187's". They may be a popular vane for a few of the Fita guys shooting X10's, but in the grand scheme of things there are plenty of other vanes that work equally well or maybe even.....................better
