Sherbrooke finally has an indoor range...

The next best thing:

First Thursday evening of every month at Lilydale Bowman is Sherbrooke indoor night - potentially.
Come along next Thursday (3rd April), $5 shooting fee, and I have it on good authority that their indoor range is excellent!

Time: I forget, I delete my emails too quickly :cry: My guess is 7:30pm

Well it was a great start to the Sherbrooke Indoor with around 20 archers shooting an Aussie Indoor. A good evening that I think will only get bigger!.

Hey that's great to hear Lilydale is letting you guys use their indoor.

I was pleased with the first shoot. We shot a relaxed Aust Indoor 1 round, 10 ends of 3 arrows (2312's). About 20 archers shooting A's & B's. Started shooting 7.45pm, Coffee break after 5 ends , finishing about 9.15pm. Lillydale supplied coffee and tea. Lindsay Harris their president looked after us well. We thank them very much and look forward to the next shoot 7.30 Thursday May 8th.
Insurance OK.

I can't see insurance being a problem as Sherbrooke have virtually just hired the venue from a supplier so av insurance would cover them .

The insurance for our members is not an issue at all. The AA insurance covers all members and officials at any location. As stated we are just renting the facility. We have had a very positive reaction to the Indoor and I beleive it will only get bigger.

At this point of time the night is only for Sherbrooke members but the point about visitors is a valid one and will be raised at the next committee meeting.

Although I can see that we might be able to do a league shoot on line on a monthly basis.?
