PACIFIC 3D CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007

WHAT IS THE PACIFIC 3D CHAMPIONSHIPS?

The inaugural Pacific 3D Championships is a two day event which is jointly hosted by Kiwi 3D and 3D AAA. This event will be held annually, with hosting alternating between New Zealand and Australia initially but could move to other locations once it is established. The inaugural event will be held at Massey Archery Club in Auckland, New Zealand over the weekend of November 24th and 25th.

The tournament will be shot under 3D AAA tournament rules with a small adaption to assist with management of groups.

WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION FEES?

Senior $50.00
Family $100.00 Two adults and at least one junior
Junior $30.00

Fees can be paid by either a cheque or filling in the credit card details on the registration form. The registration can either be posted to the Massey Archery Club or e-mailed to;

WHAT IS THE FORMAT?

The Club grounds and facilities will be open on the Thursday for familiarisation, checking equipment and a bit of practice. Administration will be open from lunch time on the Friday.

There will be a social occasion on the Friday night to enable competitors and supporters to mix and mingle. A meal will be available and as the Massey Club is fully licenced a good selection of refreshments will also be available.

Breakfast will be available at the Club on both the Saturday and Sundays with the courses being opened for shooting at 9am. The courses will be closed at 5pm on the Saturday and 2pm on the Sunday. A spit roast dinner will be served on Saturday night and of course the lounge facilities will be able to be used.

The prize giving ceremony will be held as soon as possible after closure of the courses.

WHERE CAN WE STAY?

There is some camping available on the Club grounds. If you wanted to hire a campervan you could contact Maui Rentals, one of the largest rental agencies at www.mauirentals.nzhere.com

Billets will be available with Massey members so if you would like some accomodation in this manner contact the Massey Club and they will see what they can do.

You can count Merrilyn, Jordan and myself in.NEW ZEALAND is one beautiful place. I shot the South Pacific IBO Titles there in 1997, looking forward to going back, well done guys.

I think cubs and juniors have the same shot fee, I'll look into it further and get back to you........aspa
