Just took delivery of my new 13" MacBook!

What a sweet ride! :D

I know I won't be getting much work done this afternoon :rofl:

I placed the order with our IT Services Dept in early February, and I got it today.

I bought a ASUS W2P Notebook 17" to take to the States with us guys (IBO World C'ship), I know how to turn it on :) NormB. says, I'll be lucky if I get passed him to use it :drool:

I believe you'll find that it is about the same width as a standard aspect ratio 14" screen. The 15" Macbooks are that same width as a 17" screen.

It's actually quite clever. For most work, the height is often not as important as the width.

Yeah, I know, I was just commenting that it's an unusual size - LCD screens tend to stick to particular sizes. Just vaguely wondering if there was some reason Apple had done it that way.

It's actually quite clever. For most work, the height is often not as important as the width.
Well sometimes, on the other hand with word processing the width is wasted.
My laptop's widescreen, it has it's moments, but I'm not totally convinced. Biggest advantage I've found is that on a plane it's easier to deal with a widescreen laptop :-)

I now how you feel I've been running a MacBook Pro 17" for about 6 months (courtesy of my IT department also) and its sweet as!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
