View Full Version : Nock shop service
I just got back from the club after shooting 6 arrows watching every arrow miss the target !!! I couldn't for the life of work out what the hell was going on, seems last week when I tried the NV system the nock shop bolted my bottom limb on wrongly, the bottom limb is now twisted as it's slipped from under the bridge post, ie the left side of the limb is lower then the right side ! How much damage could this of caused if any ? I'll be going back to the shop monday and I'm not very impressed by whats happened !
Bridge plate I meant to say. It has also caused big scratches to the limb itself so I think I'm well within my right to ask for a replacement, will let everyone know how I get on with this Monday night !

ooohhhh good reason I do all repairs on my bow myself. Even people I trust and know that they know what they are doing I'ld rather do it myself.
I tried to post a pic of it by clicking image button but that kept giving me a url to put in, if anyone wants to see just how twisted this limb is i'll email the pic !

Just returned from the nock shop and after a bit of coaxing they admitted the mistake was there's. Problem fixed now !

What was done to rectify the problem? Was refitting the limbs enough or are they getting replaced.
It was the rubber bridge plate that had moved, at first it was my fault for dropping the bow but then the guy realised the last time it was in the press was in the shop, I shot it afterwards and it was back to it's beautiful self. Everything seems straight now so it'll get a quick shakedown before heading your way sunday morning, the bloke gave me a bag of x10 nocks for my trouble, he knew i was a bit pissed off about it but my x10 nock pins still havn't arrived, hopefully i'll have them some time this week as I wanted to give them their first outing on sunday. If I hadn't already paid for them I would of ordered them by now, i have the in and out nocks for them, gave me them for free also when he realised they didn't have the pins but I'd rather wait till they are all set up before I shoot them
