Measuring recurve accurately?

Whats the best way to get accurate distances for the arrow-eye and eye-sight distances on a recurve. Because getting someone else to measure might result in an eye poking. Its very difficult to get any degree of accuracy with these measurements.

I understand your concern but really I've only ever got rough measurements and the progrm is actually pretty much spot on ! SO don't stress to much about it :)

With my rough measurements my sight settings were spot on. But it would be nice to get all the other calculated values exact to play with the other bits of the program better.
