I have been told that the string damper on my Vectrix will place the bow and shooter into freestyle because it is classed as a rear stabilizer, this is in line with international IFFA rules.
On their site I came across the following ruling.

TC RULING 01/2007
THE USE OF A ROD TYPE STRING DAMPER, REGARDLESS WHETHER FACTORY INSTALLED OR SELF INSTALED IN ADDITION TO A NORMAL STABILIZER IN FRONT OF THE BOW IS NOT LEGAL IN ANY OF THE IFAA BOWHUNTER DIVISIONS.

Does this mean if I shoot without a front stabilizer, I can still shoot bowhunter class?
