Heya all,
I've read around the place the wide variety of novelty archery that you can shoot, from gold archery, to pub archery where they use a velcro tipped arrow and shoot a light (10lb or less) bow at a velcro target on the wall.
Thinking about this, and watching some ultimate frisbee players today at lunch made me think of ultimate archery.
It's simple.
Uses the same rules as ultimate frisbee (practically netball but you have to get the frisbee over the "score" line) but the difference is everyone is armed with goggles and mouth guards for safety, and they carry <10lb bows, and a velcro pad, similar to those you use for velcro tennis balls. And you shoot a flexible "foam" arrow with velcro on the end.
So you catch the arrow with the pad, and shoot it to your team members and they try to catch it over in the score zone to get points.
 :P
Whadda reckon? Maybe we can get into AUS Games with this since Ultimate Frisbee is in AUS games.... :)
