:)
had me a little training at 90 today.
opened up with a measly 301 :(
then started working it a little better and shot a 318 with this spectacular 60 x x x 10 10 10 @ 90mtrs taken from 3 angles just to show it off :D
then shot a new 90pb of 323.
looking forward to a good fita 900 at dva tomorrow ;)

Great shooting Primal
What bow/peak weight/arrows/release aid performed this minor miracle?
I'm very impressed. :thumb:

Diamond Black Ice, camo aws weight on the bottom only. Doiker elite stabiliser, vibracheck side bar & weight + plus abomb and 2 vibra check weights. 60#, 12# at full draw. Nano 530's with 110 grain points, carter atension three finger hinge style release and loopy :)
pretty much this setup with a minor change.

I took the brass aws weight off, you interested marcus?? just bottom weight now.

i saw the first four land in the yellow, said to my self, hay you have shot them all in the gold, actually the ten, cool hay.... now you have two more to put in the middle.........." nocked arrow and did like the last four...." cool! now just one more to get a 60"..... nerves tried to kick in, and wind gusted for a bit (about the only breeze all day) "ok just think about the single shot" relax. aim. aim. aim release....." spot arrow
"THANK YOUR MOTHER FOR THE RABBITS MOTHER ****ER"
The Olsan twins in the next lane, Erica and Hannah, looked at me funny.

no i see them quite well though my vortex scope, they are particularly noticeable when i dont hit the gold. but work well for field also, if i can see them.... i shot a four.... doh.
the nanos flew very well like darts the whole way down. the McKinny nocks and nano pins work well and they are cheap.

holding weight isnt all the game , more just helps you torque less and fight the wind better, if you hand position is good (and that what i have been working on lately) then you stand an excellent change of shooting good ends in the conditions i had. i have always lost points left/right.. very rarely up/down and that is typically caused by band hands.
cause they have the same.....
bow
sight
release aid
quiver
spotting scope
aurora bow bag
arm gaurd
doiker stabilser
and they can swap cloths????
mostly i call them that cause it ****s hannah.

Just make sure you take the right one home.
I shoot good height but bad left and right so maybe I shouuld look at my bowhand also a bit MORE. Notice in your pic that your bowhand is a long way around the grip. I might try that also
cheers Primal.

If you're looking for more pointers it may be an idea (if you haven't already) to purchase Jim Park's books. Its all set out in there, with pictures and detailed descriptions, even how to hold the bow. One of the biggest things in archery is that sometimes things look different to how they actually are due to different body compositions etc. Diagnoses from a single picture is difficult!

no dont do that, thats what i changed. i have actually rotated my hand back towards the riser.
between that and discovering how to "lock in" my alignment at 90, thats what i think is helping me progress over the 300 mark at 90.
look at this footage for more clues this is what i try to emulate.

You are so lucky Hannah being married to a top guy and great shooter like Primal. It must be handy having him around to help you become a better archer. Do you think you will ever get up to his standard? Can you shoot 60's at 70m, or 60m or 50m. Bet you can do it at 30m, occasionally. Anyway keep listening to what Primal says, do everything he tells you to. ;)
I've got the JP book but unlike you I haven't got a Primal. :(

Diagnoses from a single picture is difficult!
I know what you mean, but I have seen at least three pics of you Hannah, and I have seen some scores too, and you have to admit Primal is the 'top' archer in the Anderson family.
You must be so proud being married to Primal.
I'm sure if you REALLY tried you could be almost as good an archer as him, but you need to let him feel important, worthy, in charge.
How do you think blokes would feel if their 'partner' shot better than them. I know in some cases it happens but that is just because the bloke lets them win to appease them and keep them happy, stop them grizzling, pump them up, make them feel important. Those dinners gotta get cooked and those shirts gotta get ironed and beating your dearly beloved on the archery range could compromise things. Believe me, I've seen it happen. Cold dinners, wrinkled shirts, you see where I'm coming from.
Obviously Primal ain't too concerned about cold dinners and wrinkled shirts.
Maybe if you started beating him, he would feel obliged to cook the dinners and do the ironing. Now that beats getting a plastic medal. ;)

Hannah has 6 or so state medals and 1 national medal, i have all of zero.
And she beats me on regular occasions on, on and off the archery range ;)
