Anyone planning on Shooting this event? It will be held from the 18th of Jan in Perth. (I think till the 26th)
Unfortunatly lack of progress on AA's part means as far as I know the distances will still be long for Jnrs so only one of our Jnr's will likely be considering it. (70m for a 14 year old who has been shooting a year is too much to ask) Of course being in Perth is a major bummer for 80% of the archers attending.

If it follows the AA Rule Book

Target as Marcus stated but apparently a double
Field Marked & Unmarked Short FITA Field Round 24 targets each
Clout Double Clout Round - 100m recurve, 125m compound
Hope this helps. :D

I believe that at Wendouree on Dec 15th there is a State training day to practise target field and clout. Worth contacting Rob Miller about it.

The Junior Nationals start this Saturday at the International Archery Centre in Perth. All events except the Presentation Night are at the Centre.
There are about 100 entries in each of Target, Matchplay and Field, and 80 in Clout. The Presentation Night is a river trip from Perth to Fremanlte is on the two storey SuperCat (top floor is a night club) and is apparently already sold out.
Results, pics and info will be available each day on the ASWA website www.archerywa.com.au. When your checking results though, don't forget the three hour time (for most people) difference at this time of year.
Judging by the last few weeks, the weather will be fairly warm but rarely humid, and the nights will be magnificent.
Best of luck to everyone shooting at Perth :)

Marcus, Marcus, Marcus
Everyone loves Victorians, and every home should own one.
You can always tell a Victorian, you just can't tell them much.
Best Nationals Wishes to the little brothers and sisters clinging to the western fringe of the desert.
