The program members from VIC, SA and TAS will have their weekend workshop in melbourne on 23rd and 24th February. You should each have received an email from me this morning.
We are still planning the workshop for NSW, QLD and ACT.

Got the email, will be there, although giving up a day of field and clout shooting practice for Nationals.

The Melbourne workshop has been run. Hopefully we did not bore the archers too much and hopefully we showed them a few things they had not previously come across.
Jim, Leigh and I were pretty impressed by how much they all improved over the weekend. We suggested a number of quite significant changes and the archers seemed to accomodate them very well indeed.
I guess we will use a similar program for the Sydney workshop (and hopefully we learn with each one, so they should keep improving).
We were very grateful for the inputs provided by Clint and Pat, even though they were unable to attend this one. Thank you for the assistance.

The weekend was great, well run and very informative. I will be implementing a number of things that I learnt from it.
Thanks to Jim, Jim and Leigh for their efforts in getting it off the ground. I'll be looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to Jim, Jim and Leigh for all of their help over the last two days.
And also thanks to Craig and Leigh for the directions to get home. Used less petrol but still took 2 1/2 hours.

We suggested a couple of changes for them both, and they both did excellently.
Kellie's technique was pretty good so we suggested just some refinements, and we used the shooting machine to adjust her bow's centreshot so that the arrows grouped in the same hole (which was not the case prior to the adjustment).
Leeanne's draw length was adjusted in a quite major way (over 1" longer).

;)
First, take a large, sharp kitchen knife....
:)
EDIT: Not necessarily that large :D

EDIT: Not necessarily that large :D
I gather Rachel (2Dogs' wife) took a photo recently that would help determine the knife size required. But unfortunately (or fortunately?) it might need OL3 to retrieve it off the deleted file on 2Dogs' camera that she used...:D
OL3's skills have proved most useful in the past. :thumb:
I just realised "sharp" could also be an unnecessary luxury too :D

Yes, thanks Jim, Jim & Leigh (can we shorten it to JJL?). It was a great weekend! Just hope that the changes suggested don't slip from mind :(
