If you dont mind me asking Pat, what is the exact setup you use? eg; Lenght of front bar, side bars, extender, weights?

Ok.

This is different for each bow.

Generally I have found.

4 inch Extender V Bar 40 deg 29 inch long rod. V Zero's all round.
12 inch side rods.

Weights

I put about 4 on the front to start with.

I level the bow by adding weights to the side rods until the bow is level in my hand without me imparting anyforce on the riser.

I then keep adding weights to the front stablizer until the bow does not jump up at all.

Pat has shares in soma weights i am sure of it. as he has about 14 of them on the front of his stabiliser.

yeah it looks like it weighs a tonne and a half. but pat and the stabilsiers can hold really good.

Picked up my Soma long rod the other day from Urban.

Great stabiliser. Very nice on my Constitution. Still playing with weights, but certainly likes a few out front.

E.O let me try his out for a few hours yesterday. He even let me adjust everything to see how they feel.
I'm trying to convince him that chaining the end of his stab to the ground is the only way to make things heavier...

They just do not flex even with the huge amount of weight he had on it.

So now I feel like the decision has been made for me. It will just be a matter of time and I'll have some Soma rods..
