OK - now we have an online forum, lets get some discussion going.
Sherbrooke - What do we do well, what do we need to improve on
Do we hold too many events, trials etc.....
Coaching - intermediate to Advanced - Do you want the club to organise?
Provide some of your thoughts folks.......
Positive feedback is what we are after

I would like to see us organise the field course so that someone can get on the ride-on mower and drive it round the course. I know that in a couple of places this might be a challenge, but it would make it look great and make some of the maintenance easy.

Jim,
The field will be sorted out at the next working bee, we also have a new hand mower ( industrial unit) which will also make life a little easier.
I would like to see your plans for the Selection Trial field course layout please...
I would like to see those eligable for competing in the upcoming Field Selection Trial limited to Sherbrooke members :D . This would free up distinguished interstate guests to carry out important tasks such as catering and carrying out the oranges at half-time :P

Zoe and Michael,
Unfortunately I am not open to graft and corruption, although I will be happy to provide the course design on the 17th JUNE. In regard to orange bearers, I am sure I could delegate the task to both of you and let you advise each competitor ( or orange bearer) of their new role..........as they arrived.

It would be really good to get some serious stuff for discussion, although a bit of humour now and then doesnt hurt........

Marcus,
We should be thanking you for providing a forum where archers can get some valuble information and news without the crap that gets around on other forums and newgroups.
At the weekend a number of archers from other states also mentioned that they were having a good look, just hope that they then register and provide some additional points of view.
Just keep up the good work...

I like the idea of regular competition. It helps keep me motivated.
I'd be interested in one on one coaching or a small group say 3 people ( to cut costs down). It may be available now? If it is then I think we need to advertise the fact. In the newsletter we could list who is available for coaching and when available. Also a brief bio.
Something else that might be good if its not already being done. Get people like eg Simon Fairwether(sorry if I spelt it wrong) to come down and conduct a coaching seminar. Maybe we charge everybody $40 and Simon makes a couple of grand for his time. Its informational, motivational and makes Sherbrooke even more attractive to archers.
What do other people think? :-?
