Decided t shoot a fita round today as weather was very nice. Things went very well from the start aside from having to change the d-loop before 50mtrs.
Shot 352-353-355-360 = 1420

today I took my longbow out into the paddock and thought FITA thing gets a lot of attention so set up the targets and had a ping, mind the bow is illegal at 72.5# but nonetheless........
90m ....352
70m.....355
50m.....355
30m.....359 (oops)
equals....1421
is that good for longbow?
Clint, go ahead, make my day. ;)
ps my longbow has wheels on it to make it easy to carry back to the car.
the wooden arrows hold me back as do the turkey feathers, that explains the 9 at 30m maybe a should get a compond

If you add all the current distance world records together you "only" get 1421!

The wife is travelling to Melbourne for some seminar called "shopping" to might bring the gear with me if it coinsides with a qre over there.
The weather was perfect and even though I was not as steady as normal with aiming, everything felt great for the day. Only thing I was pissed about was shooting an 8 at 90mtrs, 2Dogs please send tissues.
