I made up my CXL 2's (9.2mm Dia) for indoor, 4 inch shield cut, beiter nock and 150g point.

After hearing Chris White's crazy stories about shooting a high 1380 with big alloys, I thought I would lobb a few down and see what would happen. End 1 :59 , End 2 : 60 , I thought this is alright, so I kept going... End 3 : 60 , End 4 : 59 , End 5 : 58 , End 6: 59 = 355 !!!

It left me there staring at my bow thinking WTF, should I pack these for France..LOL.. that ain't supposed to happen, of course in the wind it would be a different story due to there large diameter.

It just goes to shoe that just about any arrow will do the job as long as there fletched well and there's bugger all wind around.
150 grain points would help well also.

Your measuring a CXL 150, and there actually 8.96 ;) measured with a micrometer, much more accurate then a vernier ;)

A CXL 350 is 9.12 ! .08 out ... sorry Marcus.

Just a bit more info of the origin of this experiment. If I was told right then it was shot inside the JJB Soccer Dome with the roof up. Chris was aiming at a chair in the stands at 90mts and scored near 1386. Apparently the GB team management moaned because he blew a big oppotunity to shoot a 1400. Still I think they were missing the point.
