A little birdie just told me about some great shooting going on at DVA!
Erika shot a 1365 today in some pretty gusty wind including a lovely 351 @ 60m :o, and yesterday Hannah Anderson shot a new PB of 1375 for a 70m FITA! :shocked!:
Hannah's distance totals:
70m: 335
60m: 344
50m: 340
30m: 356
1375
Great work Hannah and Erika!

It was VERY windy today.
Great shooting Hannah.
Well done to DVA's Renae as well who shot a Ladies FITA PB this weekend too including a 326 at 60m and a 317 at 50m. (Renae's still only 14)

Yes, it was...I'm still struggling a little with them just because it is very different to what I am used to, and it seems to be using enough different muscles that my shoulder can sometimes get a bit sore, but other than that, it seems to be working well :)
Still got a little bit of work in refining the changes and ensuring a higher level of consistency, though.

It would be cool if she shoots the "Easton Australian Open"
she can definately shoot the qualifying scores :D

We need to organise a few Target QRE's so your scores can count towards the squad selection.
Only 2 Target QRE's in VIC for the rest of the year if I'm not mistaken.
Just wondering why we went away from having 1 a month?????

Well with events on for 15 out of 18 weeks during March-June, plus field QRE's registered for every 2nd week there was no room in the calendar for target QRE's.
I think some have been registered for Frankston, but on Saturdays, so no chance for me personally for those.

Yeah I've got intentions on shooting the Easton Australian Open
From what i believe the qualifying score for womens compund is 1194
My PB is a 1278 for a 70 m fita and i shot extra rounds later that day and if i used the second 70m and second 30m round i shot, i would have had a 1290 which would have been pretty cool
My Pb is still 1278 as i didn't count those rounds as they were additional rounds to my actual fita so it would have been cheating if i used them
It will be a great experience for me shooting the Easton Australian Open
Looking forward to it as are a lot of other people

70,60 on a 122cm and 50,30 on a 80cm
