Just wanted to let you guys know about a new forum we have started and invite you to visit us and participate at www.archerysite.net
There will be lots of target archery discussed as most of us are avid NFAA,
NAA, and Fita archers. I really like this site also and visit here often. You guys would offer a different twist to our forum as I am sure USA archers add to yours. We can all learn from each other. Come see us.

Thanks Jbird, I'll check it out.

I'm MERLIN 1400 on the Archers Retreat site. actually that should be Hoyt1400, but don't tell anyone

I'm not so anomynous anymore, went to a 3D shoot 2 weeks ago stepped out of my car and someone yelled out " how's it going Merlin 1400"...now that's a worry considering it's a USA site and this is OZ :D

What do you think about the new paysite on the retreat? I joined up just to see how it will go.

Not too impressed with all the registration process you have to go through. :( :( Too risky to end up in spammers hands and because it's leaving your site and going to another it's not comforting. Are you paying for that board?

Marcus,
Don't worry about all the hoops you have to go through when registering.
Skip is using EZboard to get this off the ground while he sets up his server and gets the software in place.
Just check no or uncheck any option you don't like. This board was created because a bunch of us object to the Pay to Post policy that the Archery Network is adopting. This new board is FREE and always will be. I feel that the Premium Services fee on the Archery Network is going to ruin that board and I have been an active participant there for years and have lots of friends there. I think the new board is going to be a great one with lots of participation once we get going. I have told a bunch of people about this board you guys have over here and hope it helps you too.

Hey Paul,
Do you like your Hoyt better than your Merlin? Which Merlin did/do you have and what did you not like about it. My wife has a Merlin Legend spot bow and loves it. I have been drooling over the pictures of the new Super Nova.

Jbird,

I like the Merlin, but I love the Hoyt. I just love the grip on the Hoyts, the way the maching is curved up on the left and how my hand just moulds to it.

I couldn't get real comfy with the merlin grip, it's too square with that screw on silver plate.

The Merlins are a very good bow, very underrated in this country. I just like the feel of my Hoyt better.

Cheers
