New Zealand Outdoor Nationals 2009

Hi all,

Just a quick note to let you know that the NZ Nats in 2009 is looking like it will be held in Auckland. Venues are still being confirmed, but the proposed programme is for the start of January.

We hope to have entry forms out as soon as the venues are confirmed, but for now this is a heads up to give you time to prepare.

As always, we welcome all archers from across Oceania and even further abroad. I will let everyone know when more details are available.

I know your working hard on this Andrew, but any dates and venues yet?

As it is I already think its likely my boss will tell me to piss off cos I won't have my leave request in early enough for that time of year and have been beaten to the punch by my colleagues.

Venues are still in the working. Sorry for not having these out yet, but we only got started late, and it takes time to get approval for these things.

Our draft programme is (depending on venues):

Saturday 3rd Jan - Official Practice
Sunday 4th Jan - FITA
Monday 5th Jan - FITA 720 and Team's Matchplay
Tuesday 6th Jan - Individual Matchplay
Wednesday 7th Jan - Clout & AGM
Thursday 8th Jan - Unmarked Field
Friday 9th Jan - Marked Field & Banquet

We are in discussion with various venues for target and field, and hope to have more definate venues in the next few weeks.

I can confirm that the Nationals will run on the above dates. Our venue for the Target/Matchplay/Clout will be Sacred Heart College in Auckland, with Whitford Forest Archers for the Field shoot.

Hi all, everything is now confirmed, and the entry form has been added to the first post of the thread :D Please forward this to anyone/everyone who may be interested.

We will be sending out a more detailed programme with start times/sponsors/fun shoot details etc. at a later date.
