AV Junior State Development Squad Trials

Anybody here understand more about these trials?

At the State Indoors, my daughter Megan got a form to fill out without too many details. We filled it out and returned it and didn't hear anything further. I now notice that more dates for these trials are up on our club notice board.

The question is now does she just turn up to these trials? Are there minimum standards etc.

Megan shoots U/12 girls Compound and rather likes attending the tournaments because of the social thing with the other kids. She is quite over the 'turn up and get a medal' thing and would like more competition. Whether she makes the State Team or not, I don't think it is as important to her as the social aspect.

Where do we go from here?

Just turn up to the trial. There are no minimum standards

Since you have filled out your form, when you turn up at Waverley on October 5th check the typed list of names on the board outside the front of the building. Megan's name should be on it. Please check the details carefully and change if needed.

If Megan's name is not on the list put Megan's name, age group, bow type etc on the blank piece of paper on the notice board.
