Hi! It's Luke Eberbach, from Melbourne Australia here. My club is Diamond Valley Archers Inc (http://www.dva.asn.au). I shoot mostly 3D, ABA field, IFAA and some hunting, but also some FITA as well.

Like a lot of the members on this forum, I am from Melbourne, Australia. I have been shooting for about 2 and a bit years. I shoot compound, sights, release etc (but lately have been thinking of going to the dark side and trying recurve) and only shoot FITA stuff (FITA target, indoor and field) not because I have some passion for FITA or anything, but because that is what my club shoots and it is what I always have shot...I have never shot the other types (IFAA, 3D etc).

Any way, my favourite is 90m in the FITA round!! Strange but true... I don't like field archery much (also strange but true, it seems to be the most popular) but do like indoor. I enjoy shooting in tournaments, but find that I don't enjoy them if I am not shooting well (that bit is not strange to most people I'm sure!)

Unlike a lot of archers it seems, I don't hunt :o no desire to either, can't see the fun in it personally, but each to his own as they say... :) I have shot a rabbit though with my bow (good shot too -- from 50m) but I didn't particularly enjoy that and basically felt sorry for the rabbit  . Thats really sad isn't it... I'll shut up now...

Perhaps I will take my camera out hunting and try to stalk up really close to the deer or what ever and take a photo of its eyeball or something to prove that I got really close. That way both me and the deer walk away...

Please no one take offence at my comments... :-?

Since I'm new to this forum, I'm a little late in answering this but ...

Jim McKiel from Roosevelt National Forest in Colorado, US. I live in the Rocky Mountains and my back yard target range is awesome ;)

No offence on your post, mike. I couldn't hunt either; I don't shoot 'em, eat 'em or wear 'em.
