A BIG THANKYOU!!

Just wanted to publicly thank an archery forum member, Tackleberry, for showing us such a great time. My wife and a mate went up to NT in Aug/sept and Dereck was kind enough to take us out after some pigs. When i mean some pigs i mean about 1000!!!!! I've never seen so many pigs!!!

I met Dereck on this forum and as we were heading up that way he was keen to help out. He organised everything for us, permits, extra quad bikes, grass fires, fog!!!! and a great time.

Once again thanks Dereck we all had a ball. It was more than just a hunt, it was an adventure that we won't forget.

Anytime your down this way we're keen to return the favour.

Did you manage to bag yourself a pig?

Yeah got 6 pigs. Two good boars among them (around the 27 point mark). All up for the weekend we got 14 between us. Not bad considering the piggers had been there. They also kindly lite fires everywhere which made the trip back to camp interesting on the first day.

By the way all of us at Bacchus Marsh are looking forward to the 'Triple crown' next year. Should be a lot of fun. Good to have something different and be able to shoot with archers from the other forms of the game.
