I use a Golden Key Golden Premier with a wire launcher. I find it very reliable, consistent and durable. Many release aid shooters here also use drop away style rests also...

Hi Niki. You might find posting equipment related questions in this section won't get you many responses. Try the Tuning and Shooting form area.

I use a Bernadini Drop away with a word attached to my cable. Happy with it so far. The Goldern Key is very good too. Check out some equipment reviews here

I use a "Quicktune", don't know the full brand name etc...!!!

It was cheaper than the Golden Premier, which is why I bought it (I simply don't have the money for half the equipment in this sport!) but it seems to work fine.

I would get the Golden Premier if I could afford it....as long as it has independant left-right and up-down adjustments and is reasonably easy to adjust then its fine by me...

I use a Golden Key Premier, with snake tongue arm (upside down). Over 10 years I seem to have collected three of them

On my GK Premier rests I use launchers made out of discount store fondue forks. 6 for $1, and they're made out of fairly soft metal, easy to bend/file into shape, and they fit perfectly into the holes for the wire launcher/prongs on the launcher arm. A small one for ACEs, a large one for Aluminum.

Ttaass;

Fondue forks! You kill me!

;)

I guess it is as good idea as feeler guage.

I am using a NAP Quicktune 3000, does the trick. I think the GK Premier has a finer adjustment ability (better spring) on the soft side.

I am thinking of getting a Britesite Pro-Tuner, I have heard a lot of good reviews. Not a big fan of fall-aways, but if you like them use them.

I am using a Spigarelli Top Rest. I have these rests on both my bows and find them an execelent value for money dropaway rest.

I used a golden key platnium premier for many years converted to a dropaway rest

I use the Britesight ProTuner. Nice Simple Arrow rest............but a disgusting price in AUS dollars for what it is. With the plate that fits the Hoyt this rest cost me just over $200aus. Someone with the right gear could make it here for $50aus dollars.

I like the Feeler Gauge type rests for there simplicity.....and they work.

Probably the most popular rest with our top pro target archers here in the US is the Pro-Tuner. For 3D, it may well be the Bodoodle. Many of the top pros are shooting the fall-away style for indoors - principally the Trophy Taker. I follow the party line using the Pro-Tuner for field/target and also for 3D and a Trophy Taker for indoors. Each of these rests are super easy to tune with very easily adjustable settings and little if anything to break down.
