Hi from the UK

Recently bought a secondhand PSE XLR Infinity, having been shooting recurve for 9 months. Now need some new arrows and, having used XX75s with the recurve, wonder if carbons would be better for the compound. Concerned about stories of carbons shattering tho cos I do miss sometimes ! Arrows need to be multi-purpose cos I can't afford more than one set, and will be used for field, target and indoors throughtout the year.
Bow currently pulls 52# and the arrows that came with it seem about the right length at 28". Using a Fletchmatic release aid. Any thoughts ???

I would have a very good look at the Doo Sung Olympian arrows. I got a set recently and they have been very durable. My dad's 6 month old set has only had one break and I've shot wood with mine that only knocked the point out.
They seem accurate and straight. There are quite a few posts concerning them on here. For your money you get an arrow that is between the ACE and X10 in weight and quality while paying almost half that you would for an ACE.
They are more durable than he Carbon Techs which cost the same.
If you want budget carbons check out teh Easton CarbonAeros, however they are a bit thick for target use. (better for field and indoor)
