Looks great Marcus, ...but the blurb on the back page seems to end abruptly with...

".....Indoor Masters Champion and"

Was that on purpose, or is there a bit missing?

:-)

yeah just getting that text bit finished off (just did it actually) so don't pay too much mind to that little bit.

I am pretty pleased with the look of the covers, Marcus has done a great job.
The two books Marcus has shown:
- "Mastering Compound Bows": I have revised the text quite a bit, and included more.
- "Mastering Archery Technique Analysis": What I have tried to cover is new (not covered in MCB). I have shown some of it on various threads on the forum when commenting on technique. What I have tried to show is how I go about analysing an archer's technique (which angles I look from and what I am looking for), for both recurve and compound. In particular, I have shown exactly the pictures and video I think you need to take if you want to have a coach look at your technique, and what I think you should save from time-to-time so that you can watch your technique develop and be able to track back to faults being introduced and then correcting them. "MATA" is a smaller volume than "MCB". This covers exactly the way I have analysed the techniques of those I have coached over the years.
The third book "Mastering Bow Tuning", which is still in progress, covers exactly how I go about setting up recurve or compound gear and then optimising its performance. Hopefully this book will not be too far behind the other two. This will be quite a substantial volume (probably larger than MCB).

I was lucky enough (with some other people) to get to have a proof read of MATA and so far have found it very very helpful in analysing both my own form and those I coach. I think this is a must own for anyone who wants to develop good technique or who coaches other archers. We use many of the techniques shown in the book at DVA and have gotten some very good results very fast with many archers.

I don't know about the quote on the cover; hope it doesn't hurt you too bad!
