I've been experimenting a lot with developing a consistent method for getting my shoulder low and my bow arm relaxed. I've found that what seems to work best for me is the following sequence:

- raise bow with bow arm to bottom of the bale height
- draw and anchor
- push shoulder down/forward, relax deltoids
- apply back tension until release

Any other methods anyone would care to share? I'm always looking for techinique that works better for me.

All I do is imagine my bow fling twords the target and always make me bow jump out of my hand. You have to have a good finger sling on though

What i have found works best for me (recurve) is to raise my bow above the target without drawing, then i bring it down to target wile pulling back about 1/3 of the way. Then here i roate my shoulder in and elbow around, and then continue to pull back the whole way. This way you dont need to adjust your shoulder at full draw.
