v stabilizer?do we need them?

I have a mathews compouind bow. i see there are companies that sell v stabilizers, but i don't know many who have them. being as i like to put all the toys i can find on my bow and they look really kewl, does one get better shots with these? what type(s) are worthwhile?

Makes your rod point somewhat down to get a lower more self stabilizing balance point. Has been some recomandations of it around in the forum 8)
