Does anyone know what memberships fees I would be up for to join ABA for the rest of the year.
I haven't been a member for 7 years.
We have an IFAA shoot on this weekend, and depending on the cost of rejoining ABA I might go.
But I'm not going to pay a heap of money to essentially shoot 2 IFAA's a year.
Do I have to join these days or can I just role up and shoot

I believe that you would have to still join up to shoot.
You can see the ABA fee structure here
http://www.dva.asn.au/fees/
I'm thinking of doing the same as well, however I already missed the indoor so it may not be worth it.

Paul , To join ABA at present will cost you $60.00 including Joining Fees. If you wait until the 1st of August you will need to pay $50.00.
These fees will take you up until the 31st of december.
When you pay the fee's next year before the end of January you get a discount I think this year it only cost $47 dollars for the whole year . I have forgot because I usually pay for three years at a time and get a further discount .
Hope this helps .
Try and get involved in shooting some more IFAA . I want to work hard on getting it going down here in my time as Branch controller.
Good Luck

Unfortunalety, that cost will keep me out for the weekend.
That on top of Shooting fee and fuel for 800 km's round trip will make it too expensive for us.

Sorry to hear that Paul,
Maybe next year you could join at the start of the year and try and get to a few more IFAA shoots , Heard that the Nationals might be up your way next year.

Ahhh Stuff it...it's 11:00pm friday night and I want to shoot some IFAA.
So I'm going to cough up the dough and go. It starts at 8:30 tomorrow morning.
Now if I get to bed now, I can get up and leave at 3:30am to make it on time.
Sounds bloody good :D
Someone said I would be charged a late fee............that's a bit rude.

Just grabbed my Plam Pilot and worked out my sight settings, ready to roll. AAPalm is a pretty handy program for the Palm Pilots.
It's a pity Jim doesn't have a Palm version yet.

Oh about AA Palm, I had to buy it from Perry over the internet. He then posts you a CD.............which sux in this day and age considering you could download it...it's small.
I like the arrow plotting capability of AA palm and its a cut down version of the AA windows version for sight settings.
Pit Jim hasn't got the time to make a Palm version of his program.......because I think his sight mark program is better. AA gives you a few extras that's all.
