2 things

You seem to be leaning backwards away from your 'forward stabilisation unit' and also your shoulder alignment is out.
To bring your posture up straight lean forward by bending just below the rib cage. It will feel strange but will straighten your back right up.

Also try to get your front shoulder closer to the string, that will bring your shoulder into line more and in the end make you steadier.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yes I'm leaning somewhat back a little in that picture "Guilty as charge"

I have to get new pics these are about 2 weeks old :-? When I move my front shoulder towards the arrow, it feels like my shoulder goes up. I will be taking more pics maybe tomorow night and will post them so you can see what I mean.

On a side note. This is mostly for Marcus. When you send someone a PM. How long should it take before it moves from "Outbox" to "SentBox"

When they read it it moves across from Outbox to Sentbox. It should be called 'Unread' rather than Outbox

Marcus,

Now you know why you got twice the same PM from me today

So did you get an answer back?

Cheers,

Claude

It actually does move up a little, but thats ok, what you are trying to achieve is to have your collar bone sitting down on your rib-cage -- that is the strongest position. With your shoulder in this will feel a little high but trust me it will be a far more stable position over time.

When I move my front shoulder towards the arrow, it feels like my shoulder goes up.

I would like to suggest, rather than pushing your front shoulder closer to the arrow, try to set your rear shoulder more back and reach out for the target with your bowarm. You will achieve a better alignment this wayand your front shoulder won't come up. If you put a arrow across your scapulas at full draw, the arrow should be pointing to the right hand side of the target (RH archer)

NockOn,
I agree with Marcus' comments. You could change your shoulder alignment to get the shoulder line to the right of the target rather than to the left (there are pictures of what we want in a few other threads, or you can see it in "Mastering Archery Technique Analysis"). Similarly, removing some of the arch in your back would be a good thing.
I like your bow arm orientation and your bowhand position particularly - very good.
You are leaning away from the target just a little, but your head is nicely upright.
I cannot tell exactly what you are doing with your string hand on the release, but your fingers look quite tense. How far around the trigger do you have your finger and are you squeezing it off?

Would only add that your bow hand appears to be quite tense too. (only note it because of own experience. I need everything in my bowarm to be completely relaxed if I'm to shoot well...not often!)
