Rules on using dots and / or circles

At a junior training day on the weekend we were advised that you can use either a dot or a circle on a compound scope but not both.

How long has this rule been in or is this correct?

If so does it relate to both juniors and seniors and for all disciplines at all levels?

hi

many of the compounders that i know use both dots and circles...so unless that rule has only just come in...
for clout you can only have a dot in sight or lines on the mirrors...cant have both there...

Sorry, I have just rung Archery Australia to check and it is indeed incorrect.

Dots and circles may be used on your scope.
