View Full Version : Wood or Fibreglass?

Hello Everybody.

I am new to archery, and I am going to buy my first bow soon. I was wanting to buy a Recurve bow, and didnt know weather to buy a Fibreglass one first, or a wooden one..

As you can see I am a newbie...Any help is greatly appreciated

BTW I am 13, female.

CW on this forum is 14 and shoots a HOYT Gold Medalist Riser and 20 lb win and win challenger limbs cranked up to the max. - Her results are are good using this combination.

It is a little heavy but a proven combination and not to expensive as you will be able to keep shooting it right through to seniors with just a change of poundage on the limbs.

My pick of the bunch is the Win and Win Toutall. This bow is amazing quality. It takes limbs from many companies so will grow as you grow. The Challenger Craft limbs are good value as well.

Of course this depends on your budget. ;)

If you want a bow for under $200 look at the Rolan

all the more fishing polls that is why i liked the recurve it made a good fishing poll :lol: go the the recurve it is one of the hardst bow the shot right and i can say that when i shot one it was rilly hard to shot right and i did it ok go the recurve
