Can anyone else use the links on the Nock Shop site? They don't work for me.
yes their html is pretty dodgy. The hyperlinks are all screwed up. You can get through the back door by just writing for example www.thenockshop.com.au/products.swf or /home.swf
You mean the "Maverick Archery" site.. they seem to have totally dropped the "Nock Shop" title..
Anyway, I don't have any problems with the site links. (I'm using Netscape 6) I don't like websites that open up another browser when you hit a link, but that's a separate issue..
You might be having issues with Shockwave Flash if it's not working. I'm not quite sure why they used something like Shockwave Flash for something like buttons...

Thanks guys, I have shockwave running, havn't tried in Netscape 6. Personally I think you are nuts to use shockwave for buttons because you instantly cut out those who don't have shockwave.
Hate frames too, so tacky. :P
btw.. it doesn't make any difference, but you can get to the site with the url:
http://www.maverickarchery.com.au/ (as opposed to the old nockshop url).
I also noticed a javascript error when I go to the site. Although it doesn't affect the links for me and I had to open the javascript console to see it..
Agree with you about frames, Marcus...

You on a Mac or PC foo? Gareth can you test it on IE 5 on Mac, it says it works on IE 5 but doesn't for me.
Ah recommendations without testing is a wonderful thing.
I hate flapping Aussie Flags too! Urgh!!!
I'm on a pc.
My other pet hate is people who manage to screw up platform neutral technologies so that you need a particular platform to view/use what they wrote! :x
Dosn't work on my IE5 either Marcus, unless you type in the .swf extentions manually

oh yeah, and then they excuse it by saying "but everyone uses a PC"
Thanks Gareth, oh well it's a shame.
If anyone else can't get in goto
http://www.thenockshop.com.au/productsfs.htm
I also hate sites with crappy music and repeating backgroud patterns, oh and too many animated gifs, especially goofy under construction ones.
