When i shoot i try to relax by breathing and focusing on one thing at a time is this the best way to shoot a good. Do you think that im on the right path? my highest fita is only 1230 but i hope to improve.

Well if breathing didn't work, you would have a lot more to worry about then your score :D

I would ignore breathing. Your body is pretty good at working n yourself. Worry about your technique and the rest should take care of itself.

Exactly
If an archer breathes in at drawing, then a slow & gentle breathing out while settling & aiming should happen naturally without a conscious effort

The catch about breathing.......if you are nervous, uptight for any reason, have a cold, have to breath in air that is polluted.....your rate and depth of breathe changes, which in turn changes the expansion of your chest which in turn, changes your draw length. One must be careful not to use the intake of oxygen to aid the shot....too many variables that your body changes without your conscious thought.....

Here's the real life example:

Duel in the Desert, Long Beach California, October 25-26, 2003....
It was the weekend that California caught fire....it was literaly snowing ash......many people were a little concerned....not for their health as we saw the "natives" walking their dogs with both wearing surgical masks......but becuase the shot wouldn't go off....our drawlengths seem to have changed....just a little bit to make things more difficult....

The cause.....the nonsmokers couldn't take a full breathe....

 ....now in the book of excuses, that's a beauty :D

Maybe you should have puffed on about 6 packets of fags before you got there to aclimatise yourself :D:D

Quitted smoking 5 months ago, pretty stupid I guess.....

Hardens your body and lungs that stuff......

(Can buy some more arrows then though in norway we pay about 12.50 AU$ for a packet of twenty cigarettes. (In thailand I gave 1.20 AU$)

Good move.

Injecting vodka straight into your veins really does cut out the whole tiresome process of drinking it...
