Previous ones have been a FITA over 2 days, then individual MP for the top 64 competitors, then team MP for the top 16 ranked teams.

http://www.archery.org/Nymburk2002/ will give you some info on how the 2002 event was run

If you want matchplay practise come over to DVA one day and we'll take you on. Before Erika went to the worlds we had a shoot where we shot a 70m qualifier then from lowest to highest took turns shooting against her. Very intense for her and great practise.

That sounds like a great idea Marcus. How many people shot against her? Many/any beat her?

We did the same for Bryce prior to WAC01 - and between a few of us we put up $60 per matchplay to increase the pressure on him. Also, we had a commentator for the matchplays and arranged for an audience to cheer and heckle.

We had 12 shooters go up against her. She ended up shooting 180 arrows, 36 in the qualifyer and 144 in the matchplays.

That sounds awesome! That sounds like good training and a lot of fun.

Interesting that Erika won against the highest ranked, but lost against the lowest ranked. & got her best score on the last match.
