Hi
After buying my new Aerotec bow with Border ML2 limbs and ACE arrows my scores went high for each shoot.
I wound my bow to the max after a mishap of loose fixing, which realy put my scores down, now I am back to where I thought I was to start but the results are not the same.
A member of the club helped me tune the bow back, which seams to be a bit better but my main problem is I have to move my sight way to the right to shoot 100Y and back when I shoot 80Y, from 80Y down to 50Y I do not have to move the sight again.
So my problem seams to be 100Y I am shooting Right, 80Y Is fine.
I have moved my button into the bow 1/3 of a turn, which I shall try tonight.
Any other suggestions would be very welcome.

Could be arrow spine? Do any of the recurve shooters on thisboard have an idea on this one?
I'm just learning recurve tuning myself so don't quote me on anything ! Have you got your centreshot right ? Obvously from longer distances things like that may show up. Also do you have your sight levelled ? How about a walk back test ? As Marcus said how about spine ? Have you done bare shaft testing and adjusted your button right ?
Hands there is a tuning guide in the latest archery focus. It's for beginners but it should give you a good solid grounding to build on

I have seen this before. :) Have you checked that the sight bar is parallel to the string. I will guess that you are shifting the sight back towards the rise to get the sight on the target for 100y. You should also check that it runs straight back in line with the bow and not on an angle. I have had to pack out my hoyt GM as the sight bar stuck out at an angle.

I was just about to say this! If you have to move your bar in from 80-100 and it's not straight you will notice it. I had this problem and didnt notice it at any other distance because i didn't move my bar!
It could also be down to your form?????? 100 yards (i find) is quite a lot harder than the other distances and it will magnify your mistakes (especially canting)!

I can think of two possibilities (other than those already mentioned).
A compound archer I spoke to at one point was having this same problem at the longer distances, predominantly at low light. What he eventually worked out was happening was that he was watching the arrow in flight from the moment he released. This meant that he was shifting the bow that fraction of an inch before release and his arrows were going to the side. He fixed that by forcing himself to not look at the arrows.
The other possibility is that because the sight pin is going to be lower for 100m than for 80m, the bow is going to be on more of an angle to reach 100m. Even if your anchor point is the same, it is possibly the angle at which you are holding your head. I have had this problem and fixed it up by slightly touching the string to my nose in exactly the same place every time.
'course, it could be neither of these. Just thought I'd add my two cents.

When you were adjusting, did you perhaps adjust the alignment of the limbs? This would cause the issue you are having. Check to ensure that your string runs down the center of each limb.
