The DVA FITA highlighted the problem of really high gusting winds. I can't remember aiming off so far at 30m (or doing it so ineffectually!)
Marcus posted the conditions correctly as "41 degrees with 30 knot winds". A look at the BOM nearby AWS beacon suggests that winds at the end of the day were reaching 43 km/h and gusting to 59km/h, to use AS terminology.
Jim, is it envisaged that your Drift calculator in AS could be extended to beyond 25km/h (for a constant wind at right angles), or would that simply produce more 0 scores ??
