I want to develop the news section on this site (what you see when you goto http://www.archery-forum.com ) and need contributions. I will put news up as I see it, however I want reports from shoots around Australia. Just email it to me and hopefully with a picture too and I'll post it.

Consider Archery-Forum as your archery magazine! :)

It doesn't have to be earth shattering world record news either. We sometimes downplay our achievements in this sport thinking no one cares, well time to end that.

Examples are:
Shoot reports
Club events
Someone moving up a class
Shooting a perfect round
Club, state or National records
something interesting happening.

Don't be shy now!

great idea Marcus. How about a rumor page ? just things like new products who's shooting what scores around the world stuff like that

Best way of doing that is to do it in the same area with rumour in the title, example

Rumour: Major compound maker releases another dull recurve
Sneak Peak: Mathews new recurve model
From the Clubs: Gareth shoots 1300 in practise with recurve
Press Release: DVA to hold World Target

That kinda thing. Also keeps the news rolling.

ok Marcus, here is some news: I shot a 353 at 70M. Finished off with a 60 with 4X's. For 12 ends I had 701.

As you can see by what Paul puts on the forum after each tournment he hates coming 2ND or I should say 3RD !! :lol: :lol:
