I saw this anonymous archer on a nearby range. Why is he mixing target and clout archery in one style? :) :)

Perhaps the love of clout is hereditary?

I've heard on the grapevine that a number of our top archers are suffering from chronic fletch-left-low tear, despite every conceivable adjustment to arrow spine and plunger. Most likely a form thing, but apparently the AIS have now found a solution. Whether this photo sequence has anything to do with it is a matter of speculation - I personally think the 'tear' phenomoenon is a hand torque issue.

I just think that he has probably knocked over so many scopes that the style has been adjusted upward instead of sideways. :)

I feel sorry for whoever has to shoot next to him. Getting beaten in literally two ways...... Score and getting hit over the head with a long rod.

Dave i'm not saying change it. But have any of the AIS coaches tried to calm down your follow through or do they just let you get on with it?

Looks to me like a severe correction of a low released shot :-?
Dave does have a rather "flamboyant" follow thru, but ?
Probably had been tast testing his Home Brew grog ! :-?

Or, the arrow is gone by the second picture and he's changed his follow through to go up rather then to the side so he wont spear tackle any body next to him and also won't hit himself in the face as the bow rolls over? :-?

All you can do is laugh when he does it. And yes most of the time its a 10. Funny to watch others do it they don't seem to understand its a reaction. There should be more of it though, great entertainment. :D

But have any of the AIS coaches tried to calm down your follow through or do they just let you get on with it? Yeah, it doesnt happen as much now, but the occasional swing is still there.
