When is this on? My dates say 30th and 31st of August, but that's a Friday and Saturday. Is that wrong?

Marcus, my calendar says the 30 th August and the 1st of September , you are talking about those to be conducted by Whyndam Rebels I am guessing.

Yeah I am. It appears I have a bug in my calendar software. Are there only 30 days in August?

Yep, thanks Bruce, came through just fine...probably is the best format :)
Thats the same weekend as the Sherbrooke Silver Cup (FITA FIELD)I believe. Thats a shame, I guess that will keep some people away. I'll be shooting the Silver Cup.
Its a pity these governing bodies and tournament organisers don't speak to eachother to try to work out a calendar that allows people to shoot both, but that brings up that hoary old chestnut again: co-operation between the different bodies. I don't think I want to go there! :-?

Problem again with that Mike is that our AV calendar is pretty full, to get ABA to work around us or visa versa means nothing would get shot.
I thought that the Sherbrooke cup was the week prior. Rod has asked DVA to host a Target trial on Sep 1st. Now that would be a serious conflict.

<me getting on my soap box>
If we had one organisation governing archery in this country, we would only have one calendar and conflicts like the one mentioned would be far less likely to occur! :)

HINT HINT.................
BTW Mike, I think Marcus is right, I'm sure the Sherbrooke Silver Cup is the week prior, but it is a good point nonetheless, conflicts like this do occur regularly.
And we are holding a State target trial on 1st September at DVA

Whilst at the recent national IFAA shoot , I was approached in my capacity as a branch controller with regard to syncronising calenders . the person in question made some relivant points but I was on my way to shoot and suggested he put something in writing to me for consideration . Well I am still waiting and unfortunately our calender hasbeen set for next year .
ABA members will find a copy attatched to the minutes of the last branch meeting that there rep will recieve , hopefully your rep will announce to the meeting in his report the calender for next year

The Sherbrooke Silver Cup is actually on the 24/25th August 2002. So it wont clash with the State 3D. We moved the event earlier in the year!
