Marked 3D

Would any archers be interested in a 3DAAA official shoot to be held in Brisbane consisting of marked rounds only. as a means of introducing new archers to the concept of of shooting 3D this would be a once a year

Sorry guys - can't make it (bit too far north this time :) ), but we recently did find that this type of format works really well. We had a number of people participate in the "marked division" of our last 3D shoot. Many of these people were shooting 3D for the first time, and enjoyed it very much!

We gave the newcomers two options, either they were supplied with the exact target distance, or we gave them the distance to within 5m, for example: " Target one 23-28m ".

The latter option proved popular, and had the bonus effect of getting people used to the concept of judging the distance...
