With this event fast approaching, can anyone give me, as a NSW entrant, some idea as to the expected terrain for the field course at Werribee, keeping in mind that this contributor, who has only discovered this forum tonight, has never shot field before.

I've never shot at this ground before, but judging by the area tht it's in I'd say it's likely to be quite flat, probably a few undulations here and there but certainly no huge slopes I would have thought.
A few of the people on this forum are locals and will be shooting the games, so they might have a better idea than me :)

I saw the course about 10 years ago and it looked moderatly tough. Take boots!

I have just layed out the IFAA course and got it to a shootable stage after 4 days of hard work with a team of helpers, Thanks team.
I have made the course as challenging as possible . you will travel around the escarpment of the werribee river shooting up and down the escarpment . some shots up to 30 deg not many as the terrain wont allow it .
good luck , remember to get yard and Meter settings
