Hi James, I was just wondering what the small negative numbers were when I printed out the slope settings?

Norm,
Whenever you are shooting up or down hills you need to raise the sight.
In most cases that is equivalent to setting the sight to a shorter distance than the actual distance to the target. In those cases, Accurate Sights simply tells you what distance to set the sight to allow for the slope.
Because of the fact that for very short distances the sight starts to go down again, this process does not work for steep slopes and short distances. In those cases the sight will need to be set higher than the setting at the turn-over point. In these cases, Accurate Sights will show a negative number for the setting, and this is the number of millimeters that the sight needs to be set above the turnover setting.
If you print the sight tape out in colour, the normal settings will be printed in black, and the top black line is the setting at the turnover. The two red lines just above that are 1mm and 2mm respectively higher than the turnover line. You can use these red lines in conjunction with the settings shown with the negative numbers to know where to set your sight for the very steep and short targets.
