Very strange, I have tested it and it seems to be working OK. Luke can you do the same? I didn't get your message, maybe it was while I was upgrading. :confused

I Have IE 5.5 - win98se, Tried again with "Colin" & "Richard" to get password sent but no luck

What happend was for some reason the system stoped seeing me as colin, tried my normal password to log on again but did not work so i requested password. Did not work.

rejoined as richard and tried password request but did not work.

sorry to cause headache

no prob, thanks for sticking with us while I worked it out. Turned out to be 2 seperate issues that didn't show up in testing.

The "and" symbol is not working. when i post messages.

Yeah it's an encoding problem. Computers have trouble with some symbols like that one in some situations thanks to our reliance on old style systems. I'll see if I can fix it.

BTW , I have put in a Clear Cookies option as has been requested in the past. Allows you to log out so if you share the computer with others they can't come in and post off your account.

Yeah I know about this one, I rebuilt parts of the forum and in doing so broke other bits :( . Will try and fix soon. Just noticed that the Topic starter feature is broke too. :rolleyes
