This bow is built mainly from "Contender" parts and spares would be available from Ausbow. The Stock and cheek plate were hand crafted to fit a right handed man 177 Cms. tall, weighing 100 Kg. Also included are spare strings and stringmaking jig, over 40 bolts, aluminium and carbon fibre, as well as fletching jig and scales and assorted spares. This bow took bronze in the 1996 national titles, and due to ill health by the owner has hardly been used since.

Fran,

Just a friendly word. Please note that you would be in breach of NSW law if you sold it to this State, as would the buyer, unless the buyer had a current NSW Police Firearms license.

Ausbow John avoided prosecution by "assisting Police with their inquiries" for his sale to a guy in Newcastle who then shot his ex-girlfriend and another a couple of years ago. The guy last week was given 8 years BTW.

I am not sure of the other State and Territory jurisdictions, there has been a lot of discussions by various Police Ministers recently, so I would be cautious with any sale.

I'm with you frommy.Plus IMHO i think too many wankers are able to get hold of them and stuff up giving archery in general a bad name .
Fran if you sell this crossbow, do us all a favour and ask to see his/her license, credentials etc and stop the bow getting into the wrong hands :D
