does anyone know the bracing height range for g3 limbs.
i have got a 68" bow and pulling 38#. 0X

The bracing height range for all Hoyt recurves is given in their recurve manual, which is available at:

That's a whole lotta strands!

I've been using 16 strands on medium 40# Vectors quite nicely, going to go to 18 strands to fiddle with arrow tune... Any particular reason for 20, or just quietness?

8125 20 strands......big?

Doesn't seem big to me.

Basically choose your strands to fit your nocks :D

i shoot like 14 strands of 8125 with my #35 limbs, works fine, and flys a hell of a lot faster than 20!!!!! With #38 you could easily get away with 16 or even 18.

i think i am shooting 22 strands of 8125 and it seems to fit my lg groove nocks fine (thin serving)

thanks for all your replys,
someone at my club suggested that i use Dyneema '02 and use 16 strands

Has anyone used this or know if it's any good? 0X

using that with me G3s and shooting fine..16 strands dyneema 02

now me bracing height is 9.25" quieiter than other settings i had..
using 70" 44# limbs at 30.5" draw..
clicking at about 46#
470 ACE w/ 100gr points spinwings beiter in-outs..
arrows are slightly soft..

but the limbs shoot great!!

looked on the hoyt website it tells you the bracing height for normal limbs and fx.
which on would g3s come under?

does anyone else shoot g3's?
what bracing height do you use?
