Should be a maximum of 72 arrows.
Two distances, varying with the archers ability
50m 80cm face
30m 60cm face

Should be challenging enough. The face can be changed with the archers competancy.

I'd say 144 arrows at 10m on a 144cm face :D

Hmmmm - but no, really.

I like the FITA indoor round  tough as hell :D

Do you get a prize for actually finishing the event, like we do at our club

The Adiminiby is good:

70m, 36 arrows, 60cm indoor face.

Double Adiminibys are also good.

This round has actually been shot at a club (more than once too), and is quite fun! :) :)

I think a tournament like this would go down really well over here - apart from the fact that it wouldn't be allowed in Rose status since it isn't a GNAS recognised round. But it would be something fun for people to shoot anyway... Maybe I'll have to get around to organising something like that. Hmmmmmmm.... Shirt?

Absolutely. I used to love the duck shooting at the Easter Show. The trick was to avoid the ducks that had the **** shot out of them because they were the ones that didn't fall over.

I reckon 5 x rounds of 10 3D Targets shot over two days including a Top Ten Shootout of the 10 highest scores on the Saturday. The targets should be scored 10-8-5 and the five including the entire animal, bar hooves and horns. The distances from the targets should be determined by the limitations of your chosen equipment which allows a male open shooter (50yds max) to compete fairly with a male longbower (30yds max) Shoot groups should be able to shoot at any time they're ready rather than waiting for the rest to get ready and can shoot all the allocated targets for the day in a single session or divide their time and shoot each series seperately. For clubs without 3D targets there should be an organised paper round that strongly resembles the 3D round. Finally these shoots should be open to all shooters rather than restricting shoots to 'members only' and denying the occasional shooter the experience of this fun sport. 8) This is my recipe for an ultimate shoot.
