mmm... up until recently I was a bit skeptical about Hoyt's new TEC concept with the I-Beam risers on their new line up of bows.
But when I shot a Hoyt Accu Tec (2000 model) last week I was really blown away. I just had to have one :D
...anyway, needless to say, I bought it and it's really nice, a very solid platform from which to shoot, and amazingly recoil/vibration free shot. The nice thing is the way the bow reacts in my hand after every shot...the same! which is more than I can say for my old Stratus Plus with Supreme limbs.
The Accu Tec is XT2000 3/4 wide split limbs, and Redline solo cam at 56lbs. Command cams are still my preferred configuration, but Redline was the only option on this bow. Regardless, the Redline cam seems to shoot very nicely :D look out for a review on the Hoyt Accu Tec in the next few weeks.
