Read in a few places some reference to thier being a difference in performance for the Hoyts depending on thier draw length settings?

Is there an ideal point ie at the top of the draw length or mid range etc ie if I was looking for a Hoyt to match my 29" draw would I be best to get that as the mid range, bottom or longest draw length setting and if so what is the diff?

Thanks,

Barry

Since I didnt get the answer here I posted the question on Archery Talk. For anyone who might want to know the same thing I thought I would post the response here:

[/quote]Preferably you want the 29.0 to be in the "C" or "D" position for the smoothest operation. The most speed would come from the 29.0" being in the "E" or "F" position although also the harshest feel, and the worst performance with the mushy feel from the "A" or 'B" positions...

Sorry Archon, missed this one

The best is to run it down the centre, however I have not noticed much change in the other positions. You may find that having the cam on the longest setting produces a longer valley and on the shortest setting a shorter valley.

Thanks Marcus. I knew if you had seen the post you would have responded.
